Morality pushed Bush over the top. It is interesting to know that many who voted for him based on morality don't agree with him on many of his policies. Wonder how they will feel in a few years when he has rammed those policies through based on the mandate he thinks they gave him. The republican party is now hostage to conservative Christians and when they get past abortion and civil unions for gays they will ask hoe Christian the rest of W's policies are. It could lead to a lot of friction and rent asunder the republican coalition.
