The combined rate is 7.65%, 1.45% for medicare 6.2% for social security and of course employers are required to match the 7.65 for a total of 15.3%.

Grace, I had our accountant ask the payroll firm to display the employer's SS payment, but they refused to do so. Is there some law that prohibits this?

It's shocking this information isn't disclosed to people. It's as if the govt is hiding this.
