America is on a roll.

It was a squeaker, we nearly lost it there- the optimism I mean. To a nay-sayer exuding pessimism.

Check the jobs figures, near 1/3 mm in one segment added I think.

Check the housing market- doing well.

We have the land, the resources, the capital turnover, and Mexican immigrants who do not have a pre-concieved notion that this is the evil empire.

Great progress in being made in reworking our oil fields for greater production, and with a strong economy we have the ability to negotiate terms with oil producers outside the ME in the event of turmoil there.

China has become a great trading partner to expand commerce.

The Press will probably not change, they will be back to Iraq in force -not to show the vast progress , but to tell us how bad it is- with pictures and casualties. Emotional stuff

They just wont admit that a full scale war is needed and will continue against terrorism which will require some sacrifices.
