Nice chart. I was a little surprised at the revenue chart. It would be interesting to see a breakdown of the 43% of income tax by income bracket.

Yes that 1.5% is gone, never to return. I guess I should be thankful that I'm only paying the 6% and not the excessive 12.5% that you must pay. Twice the pain with the exact same future return, ZERO.

Unless of course Bush fixes SS. Hopefully he will fix SS a little better than he "fixed" Iraq. I digress.

Interest payment will have to go up. Treasury as I recall was mostly issuing 2 year paper and now the short term rates are much higher.
