The Labor Department report showed a net gain of 337,000 jobs to nonfarm payrolls in the month, up from the revised 139,000 gain in September. I am suspicious of this. The Labor Department guys are all liberals. I think they held the numbers down in September in an attempt to get Kerry elected, and added the numbers in now that the election is over. It would be fairly easy for the middle level guys to arrange this. But we will never know. News will be reported much more positively now that the election is over.
