I don't know who Pat Ireland is. I think the gay marriage issue replaced Nader in throwing votes to the idiot president.

That brings up the possibility of a third party. Anyone believe a moderate, more libertarian third party can arise out of this? I would support it. Someone strong would need to come forth. I expect if the extremist right wing ideology increases from the Executive office and Legislative bodies, this will happen.
