Seems to me that it's a bit early to jump to conclusions about the 2008 GOP nominee...Why fold your hand before you look at the cards? Haven't yet folded. I have observed the trend of the party and concluded it is tanking in the same direction as the Democrat Party, notwithstanding this recent rise in fortune. I have been wrong - not often - but it happens from time-to-time. If I am wrong in 2008, then no one will be happier than I about it. If the GOP sends forth a candidate who holds to America's traditional moral heritage, well, that candidate gets my vote. If the GOP will seek to protect me from having homosexuals abuse my courts, then the GOP will get my money. If, on the other hand, the GOP lets Arlen Specter and other leftists insult me, I will continue witholding support from the GOP and will even begin to work against the party to try and bring all the crap down on everyone. And if the GOP sends forth a candidate that rejects my values as the Democrats do, then I will not vote at all. That is the way it works. I stomached a lot to vote for Bush, including his hyper-spending and goofy immigration policies. The least the GOP can do for me is remain the party that upholds historic American moral values.

It is their party ;) They are now pointing to Hillary and it will be topical until the point elsewhere. I believe the Clinton fascination is over. Hillary can't carry the water for it. Only a few want it and only because they believe she is electable. I think the press will rethink it and nominate a fresh southern face
