Clarence Thomas was lynched and Anita Hill lied for her 15 minutes of fame. However, some blacks have aided democrats in real lynchings for well over a hundred years.

There are myriad manners in which the [Democrats can render the] Bush administration... impotent.

The GOP should be aware of this, and when the leftists begin to obstruct, the GOP should calmly and repeatedly ask Americans, even on the floor of the Senate, to remember - just as they remembered Tom Daschle.

The GOP also should be sure to keep giving voters decent candidates to replace worthless Democrats. Thune was an obvious choice. Keep pushing them forward. Were the GOP to continue pounding the Democrats each and every time the Democrats stepped out of line, the GOP would meet with even more success at the polls.

The upshot of it is this: the GOP merely needs to continue painting the Democrats as the party that lacks decency - the party of anti-American protesters, the party that hates the president, the party of homos, criminals and various other thugs and malcontents.
