Wrong. The President's number one duty is to insure national security....Bush made a concerted effort to obtain UN support....the UN abdicated its responsibility...as we see now most likely for reason associated with the Bribes for Oil Program.....the UN does not have a veto over Us national security interests....there was nothing "spoiled, childish" or "bullying" about it....GWB was doing his job...

I don't think so. President Clinton couldn't even keep the French on board, enforcing UN Sanctions on Iraq. Chirac had already said that he would VETO any UN resolution to invade Iraq.

No UN support? Please see the UN Resolutions allowing the use of force for SH failure to abide by the resolutions. Specifically see the UN 1991 Gulf Cease Fire Agreement authorizing force.
