How can he privatize SS and still provide the same level of benefits without raising FICA taxes considerably? As it stands, the SS surplus is being moved over to general revenues where it gets blown over things like paying for the Iraq disaster. Without the benefit of the SS surplus, our budgets will be even more in the red. Why is that so hard to understand? Far from reducing the budget deficits in half, I predict that Dumbya will take deficits so high that we will have at least one, and maybe more than one, trillion-dollar deficit years during the second term.
