The sad thing is that I thought Kerry's concession speech was his best speech of the campaign......he spoke from the heart....and didn't sound like the usual "political machine" retoric. I always thought of J.K as a slimmed down Hubert Humphrey.

I did like what he wanted to do with economic issues, but was never sure how he planned to accomplish them or if he ever could.

Is wife.....hmmmm.....an abrasive immigrant who spread her legs for the right guy.... Heinz....then secured a fortune and said what she wanted to say and had no concern for the repercussions as it relates to a prospective first lady.
Just my 2 cents.

My wife's relatives who are from Virginia did not vote for Kerry simply because he was Catholic. This reason appears to be the predominate one among the "born again" crowd I have met. This country has really progressed in the past hundred years or so. eom

This is probably true.... After the election it was pointed out that Theresa as fond of her as I am is high maintenance, slightly hypochondriac and out spoken.. Americans still like the woman in the back seat.
