What does it have to do with the medium (and time) of Viagra advertising?

Well, who do you think sponsors the air time? Socialist subversive networks?

I don't know about tax breaks, but I hope GOP will see its error regarding prescription drug subsidies for seniors, and any encouragement in general of drug use.

My aged dad would die without medications. What are you, some kind of caveman?

Joe

I work with physicians in my business. A busy medical practice may have the entire staff (everyone, not just docs) fed expensive lunches daily. In big spending clinics (Medical Oncologists, for example) -- they think nothing of catering 10 or 12 employees on a daily basis -- one drug rep or another.

I heard an office manager tell a drug rep that her docs don't see drug reps on weekends (after saying they can't see you on weekdays). The drug rep says, "Hey, we understand your physicians are busy. We are able to compensate each up to $500 for a one-half hour presentation". We used to call them "kickbacks".

Docs are busy. Drug reps will do *ANYTHING* to get a foot in the door. We sell software to physicians offices, and it is a real problem, because without some kind of gimmick it is tough to see them unless they're desperate. We can't outspend the drug reps.

Joe, One thing I would really like to see is an investigation of how doctors have become paid prescription drug promoters.

Not to worry, this will be in Michael Moore's next "documentary," tentatively titled "Sicko."
