I am looking forward to "Brooks and Shields" on PBS's news tonight. If Shields isn't off on vacation. Another one I will have to see is Tom Oliphant.

The Marines are setting the conditions for success....

1. They have been emptying the city for several weeks....civilian population has been relocated lowering civilians inside from 300,000 to about 100,000.

2. The city is effectively sealed. No in or out unless the Marines approve.

3. Lots of tactical intel being developed.

4. Strongpoints and staging areas for the terrorists are being reduced by artillery and air.

This will be quick and brutal......
