German Unemployment Rises for Ninth Month in October, DGB Says

Nov. 3 (Bloomberg) -- German unemployment rose for the ninth month in October, keeping the jobless rate at a five-year high of 10.7 percent, as companies including Volkswagen AG sought to counter falling earnings with cost reductions.

The number of jobseekers in Europe's largest economy rose a seasonally adjusted 12,000, the Berlin-based DGB labor-union federation said. The Nuremberg-based Federal Labor Agency will release the official figures at 9:55 a.m. German time. Economists expected an increase by 15,000, the median of 41 forecasts in a Bloomberg survey showed.

Wrong, please do your home work.

The current (Sept 04) German unemployment rate is 10.7%, close enough to my 11%:

For additional info on the true unemployment rate well hidden by the current administration and their nifty tricks, check this link:

Only the MTV generation of Germans speak English well enough to consider emigrating to the US.
