Hi Vet: The problem is not programming a vote generator. Given enough time and enough field testing and I could do it myself. The problem is producing a electronic voting machine that can be operated by 70+ year old folks who have never seen one before and who don't understand what it does how it works or how to read the results. Remember these are the people who say they got confused pushing a pin into a page beside a candidate's name and now some of them are running the operation with electronic devices. Add to that state officials who know just about as much when they talked to the salesman and a few hundred mistakes is to be expected in 120 million opportunities.
