You are entitled to your opinions. Your type of thinking leads to isolationism and allows for the atrocities of the Holocaust, as well as the genocides that happen regularly in Africa. Those who advocate sitting on their hands and not getting involved are directly guilty of allowing Rwanda, Liberia and Sudan atrocities. With our resources, it wouldn't have taken much effort or manpower to save 100's of thousands of lives over the past 10 years.

We are all one people and need to help others. Israel was established with help from many, mainly because of the Holocaust and mainly so there would be a tiny strip of land where Jews could go before another genocide by any tyranical regime, bolstered by hatred and the need to scapegoat.

The US can't just sit and build fortress America. Thank goodness most Americans have values that realize this. The election showed this. Although the people differ on the effectiveness and reasons of the Iraq war, we seem to be united in support in fighting the cowardly terrorists.

Broad support continues and has existed for a strong Israel's existence, from the time of Israel's independence to today, by Americans, irrespective of party. Leaders of both parties, members of Congress and each administration, have supported Israel's strong survival, some more so than others.

Read your history before you spouteth.

It's true that the radicalization of the world is troubling and may lead to a future as forecast by Ted Turner, but, I will continue to bet on America.
