Bush pursued a similar strategy. Kerry was seeking the youth vote. He probably thought they were stupid enough to buy whatever he was selling. With the help of the FMSM they were supposed to vote overwhelmingly for Kerry. They however did what kids usually do. Kids are not committed to voting unless is it important in their families.

Bush sought the unregistered conservative religious vote. They proved easier to motivate to vote. It will be very interesting to see if they become regular voters after this election.

We can only hope. If the liberal establishment keep up their ct, it is likely that the new conservatives will continue to be a force.
