If contingency fees are not OUTLAWED, it is America that will be poor, and tyrannized by a pillaging tort lawyer class, that will ultimately have to be removed through a process that bears no relationship to a free republic. Once we have allowed a horde of pillagers to destroy that liberty-as the Founders themselves tried to warn-we will NEVER get it back. The domestic enemy has been turned back on the political front. It is not time to either forget or forgive them. The fight on the legal, academic, and other fronts is only in its early stages.
