As for liberals who do live in "blue states" and are miffed that the federal government is being controlled by the "red states," at least they can still implement their form of liberalism at the state level. Or even at the local level (which to me is probably the only level at which liberalism truly works). Besides, Democrats still have 45 seats in the Senate, which is plenty for filibustering. I suggest, however, that they not abuse the filibuster, lest they want to see their influence shrink even further. We are going to filibuster like hell, dude. Deal with it!
