As for liberals who do live in "blue states" and are miffed that the federal government is being controlled by the "red states," at least they can still implement their form of liberalism at the state level. Or even at the local level (which to me is probably the only level at which liberalism truly works). Besides, Democrats still have 45 seats in the Senate, which is plenty for filibustering. I suggest, however, that they not abuse the filibuster, lest they want to see their influence shrink even further.

We are going to filibuster like hell, dude. Deal with it!

The liberals and the Democrats all run around and love to say that gays are mistreated because of Republicans. And that the Republicans are homophobes and bigots and racists and sexists, extremists and mean and all this rot, and yet the Democrats lose an election and who do they point the finger at? Gays.
