Bush-Delay never saw "A Bridge Too Far", or heard the saying "absolute power corrupts absolutely". They just couldn't help themselves, giddy with greed, power and a feeling of omnipotence, just because 50,000 people in Ohio believed a pack of lies. What this week proves is that The People still have the power. Because even if the rightwingers are in office, when public opinion turns against their radical positions, the rats start abandoning the ship. and when moderates abandon Bushies, they are left with a clear minority.
