Population of counties won:

Bush: 150.9 million
Kerry: 103.5 million

Anyone who thinks this was a close election needs to study that map and those statistics.


By what analytical method can one find meaning in those figures? Since when does the back forty or the parkland have a say in an election? And how is it that the vote of one individual in a county is a proxy for the vote of another individual who lives in that county but who didn't vote? Last time I checked the Constitution, it's votes that count. Inquiring minds want to know...
