I know there won't be a draft because Bush has said so. But I do think the Democrats should get their predictions firmly on the record.

It's not the parent's decision. We have a 22 year old who tried to enlist a few years ago. He has a congenital health problem so they wouldn't take him. I'm proud that he tried.

OT: Since you have so many misimpressions about southerners and protestants, I thought I'd pass on a couple interesting facts. The new president of the Texas Baptist General Convention is going to be the Rev. Albert Reyes. There are 1,131 primarily hispanic Baptist congregations in Texas. Of course, there are many hispanics in primarily anglo Baptist churches too.
