Could you please provide some detail as to what you believe is wrong with the bill (other than a Republican president made it happen)?

The bill pays 75% of the cost of the covered drugs for a $35/monthly premium, and 95% of the costs over $5,100. A person cannot be out of pocket more than $3,600. Low-income individuals may not even have to pay the premium.

Is your complaint that it doesn't cover EVERYTHING?

I believe the drug bill is a good one. I've dealt with the same issues as you have with my own parents and in-laws, including cancer, heart disease and altzeimers on limited resources. Any sensible person would recognize the Bush benefit as a huge step forward for Seniors.

It is but one more example of irrational liberalism that you criticize this legislation. Of course, a review of your posts could easily turn up hundreds.

the liberals for forty years didn't do anything to help your dad yet you're calling President Bush's drug assistance to seniors a fraud?
