How much you want to bet that he doesn't get the votes in his committee.

I don't want to wager, but to vote him out would be to lose his vote to confirm these Judges. And we need every one. Now that he is not running again, the only whip you can hold over him to hold him in line is the Chairmanship.

Of course this is his last term in the senate

1. Sez he.
2. Six more years. He can do a lot of damage in 6 years.
