Bush is a monster, but I note that no Democrat has come out against an attack on Falluja as far as I am aware.

The key to this problem is not Bush, monster that he is. The key is the fact that virtually all 4200 members of the elite COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS -- which includes both leading Republicans and Democrats -- are demanding a US "success" In Iraq.

The bottom line is that virtually the entire ruling US elite is behind the Iraq invasion -- differing only on tactics. Some regret the launching of the war -- but virtually all are saying the US must now see it through no matter what the cost in blood and treasure.

When you think about it, this really is a much more profound condemnation of the US as a nation and people than anything Bush could accomplish on his own.
