You are just evading the real issue by engaging in semantics. We are of course talking about the logical conclusions that follow from holding this particular worldview. The inability of moving from what IS to what OUGHT to be, in a closed system where there are no transcendent values is what I am pointing out. Reason alone, from an evolutionary standpoint, would dictate dog eat dog, the strong eliminate the weak. It's only when you sneak the emotional baggage of Theism into the picture that you come close to a system that is intuitively "right". Then you and other Atheists proclaim with a loud Ah HA! we can have the same ethics as Theism, without an appeal to God. I'm saying you are cheating and that in essence what you are doing is starting with conclusions about ethical oughtness and then trying to work back from those to justify them in an Atheistic framework.
