Obviously withdrawing from Iraq has been the goal all along, but not until a stable government is in place and it needs to be a government that can protect itself and the Iraqi people.

Immediate withdrawal like Michael Moore calls for would be the worst possible action. It's been widely projected that more than a million people would be killed if we withdrew and left Iraq unable to protect itself from some of the more evil factions that would rise up and overthrow a weak government.
