My kid is 7 and I can hardly keep up with him on Nintendo. It really sucks when you are trying. Yes, it disturbs me when he says stuff like, "I'm gonna shoot your bloody head off!" However, I give him some credit for saying it with the correct British accent.

Maybe I should drag him to the tennis court and volley serves at him that he can't return. I rather prefer to enjoy the noncompetition of sport these days. Leave the competition to the world of daily finance. My wife beat me straigt up in 3 games of pool last night. Games are fun, getting the ego out of the way to enjoy the competition is much funner. I thoroughly enjoy getting my ass kicked.

Speaking of D & D, I can't figure out to do with those damn YuGiOh cards. My kid loves the damn things but I don't really know what to do with them. Kids up to the college level are now playing with a D&D level of interest. You match up the cards to do battle with their virtual enemies. Again, it's competition without a real enemy. Kind of like where we all thought before 911.

Peace!!
