Cjac, Tylenol (acetaminophen) is potentially highly toxic to the liver, while the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are at high potential for damage to the gastrointestinal tract; i.e., ulcers, gastric bleeding, etc. I guess you pays your money and takes your choice, although you might ask your physicians about transdermal (patch to be worn on the skin) pain control or an implanted patient-controlled analgesia pump. - Holly
