I suspect one reason for American's interest in emigrating to New Zealand is really Australia. Perhaps this is just my personal bias, but I just can't imagine too many Americans choosing New Zealand over Australia. Because of the reciprocal-residency agreement between Australia and New Zealand, residency in New Zealand (which is far easier to obtain than residency in Australia) automatically grants you the right to live and work in Australia. ----------------------------------------- In Los Angeles, Mr. Morris Piller (King of the New York Slumlords) would be serving time in County Jail until the housing violations were cured. Both the City and the County have active enforcement programs here. .
