To regain control is going to require two strategies. Forget the past, look forward. Assuming we ever have fair elections again. 1) We are going to have to do a better job of getting out the vote of young people and getting George Soros to redouble his efforts to raise money. Remember just how much Bush raised before the convention? 2) We need to find a wedge to drive between the Evangelical Christians and the Chamber of Commerce Republicans. Something like the Conservative Coalition to end Tobacco use.

These evangelical hypocrites have a long history in this country. The disastrous prohibition law of the 1920s came in response to pressure from evangelical zeolots.
