Bull, re: political quiz. Here's what it gave me. I was on the edge of "conservative" and also "libertarian." What did it give you? Ed CENTRISTS espouse a "middle ground" regarding government control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes support individual freedom of choice. Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind, tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what they describe as "practical" solutions to problems.

10 questions and it pegged me accurately.. They have me pegged as a centrist (80/50). I would have thought I was an extreme liberal/libertarian. Nevertheless, I do not believe this country is really divided on political tendencies. As a self professed liberal/libertarian I have no problems whatsoever with Milton Friedman, Colin Powell, and the Pope. I think the real divide in this country is between the educated (well informed) and the emotionally well adjusted on the one side and the uninformed (non curious) and demented on the other side. A map that could delineate those tendencies would clear up a lot of stuff.
