So how do you explain the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, ... You clearly missed my earlier post where I said that those events took place centuries ago, whereas the Islam of today is a throwback to the 5th century. Western civilization has evolved since the dark ages, but clearly Islam has not. Hmmmmmm....wasn't it Christian Serbs who were committing genocide against the Kosovo Muslims? Wasn't it a Christian Hitler who was committing genocide against the Jews? Isn't it a Christian Putin who is committing genocide against the Chechen Muslims?

there are Islamic institutions and clerics in America preaching their hate and intolerance of our way of life and agitating for implementation of their way of life here in America. This is war. This is a clash of civilizations. You have to wake up and see it for what it is. Which Islamic institutions are doing the above in the US today? Please list them. This is war? The main thing on Americans minds is the price of a flight to Vegas, how good the seats are at the Beck concert, and whether to order a martini or a rum punch. America today is NOTHING like war. You are exaggerating yourself into a frenzy. there are situations where Islamic religious teachings tells Muslims to fight It seems that those situations involve any time they come into contact with infidels. Your ignorance is showing. Why is it that in Beslan, Russia, the Muslims didn't decry the wholesale slaughter of innocent children? In the ME they did. In the papers I read they did. Muslims are no different from you and me in their reaction to the Beslan autrocity. I have read most of the Quran and parts of the Hadiths, and have read every article I can get my hands on about the history of Islam and of Israel in the Middle East. Have you? No, I haven't. I base my views on living daily among Muslims. If your research has resulted in your extreme conclusions (it's a societal cancer, not a religion, is your view, I believe), why don't you describe for us the reasons you came to that conclusion, and describe them in ways that Muslims would agree with?
