But where do you think our success comes from? It came from hard work and clear ideals. And our generosity to other nations who are struggling for decency and to become productive societies. Like I said before, take a look at history and the leaders most admired in the U.S. Many have the common thread of very strong morals, a high value placed on life, a good work ethic, and generosity to their fellow man. These are Christian ideals and have made this nation great.

You aren't objective at all. I don't even know where to begin.

1- You are taught in school that US leaders have the amazing characteristics that you describe, whether it is the truth or not.

2- Do you think a non-Christian would answer the question "What are Christian ideals?" with the flowery list (strong morals, a high value placed on life, a good work ethic, and generosity to their fellow man) you provided? I think you have that view because YOU are Christian, and YOU believe that those values are great, therefore Christianity must have those values.

Mindmeld, RE: "But where do you think our success comes from? "

Originates by violently taking over another person's country (American Indians) and stealing their country and taking their natural resources.

On a different note, Canada has more oil than Saudi Arabia. I guess they didn't know that back then.
