"I ban people who stalk and harass me, ..." If you have known X for a while, you know that her qualifications for ban amounts to anyone who bothers her ... Other people bother X, other people's ideas bother X, other people's opinions bother X, other people's comments bother X, other people's presence bothers X. X is not Xactly a people person... By the way there is a now famous SI episode in which X participated. One person was complaining that another poster had stalked and harrassed her on SI. She begged him for months to stop posting to and about her on SI. He refused. For a while SI Admin forbid the guy to post to or about her but the guy threatened to sue them so they let it go. Whole new threads were created so that she could post without contact with the guy but he would not stop. X ... was the only person who defended the guy. She proclaimed that no one could legitimately complain of being harrassed on SI or stalked, since you don't have to read any messages and since we have alias persona. She stuck with this posting regularly in support of this guy in spite of the fact that the complaint involved claims of emotional break downs and serious psychological suffering. If X is serious about this complaint, she owes a lot of people an apology. She creates hard feelings where ever she goes and like in the case above leaves bag holders with her unfinished business. Then complains when anyone mentions it... tsk.

THANK YOU BRUMAR! Reference was made yesterday to how peaceful France was and how warmongering we were. I then posted that I had just heard on the radio that the peaceful French had wiped out the entire Ivory Coast Air Force. And now you produe the story!

I don't only ban people who stalk me, I hope I didn't say that- I also ban people I don't want to talk to (especially on some of my more personal threads- where I CLEARLY say that). I consider my time on SI my own, and I clearly state my moderation is whimsical- I like to talk to people I like- and the only difference between me and other people is, I'm honest about it. I like my threads dead- it's better then seeing them alive with posts I don't want to read. You may not understand that, but it's what I like. Censorship has nothing to do with it- you can talk anywhere you like on SI, you can start your own thread- the only thing I have influence over is my threads, and whether you can talk to me. That's hardly censorship- that's simply the right to socialize where I want to. I really fail to see how exercizing a private right of free association is censorship- if I controlled the world, then it would be. I don't want to discuss anything with you on my threads- and I can't say I want to after reading your most recent post. Clearly you enjoy me, more than I enjoy you. Sorry about that, but your probably not going to be able to change that. Best of luck in finding someone else to post to. I don't understand why you care- about my threads, or about how I moderate them, I really don't. I don't care a bit about being banned- and would never post where I wasn't wanted anyway. Start a thread- don't whine to me or about me. You are a free agent- I don't control your life, or your posts, or your ability to do anything you want to on SI. Good luck with your continued career as a poster on SI- may it blossom into something that makes you truly happy. I mean that- I just don't want to have to be part of your dream, ok?
