Peter, I worry though, because President Bush has not vetoed anything no matter how bad it was. I personally think Congress is failing in its responsibility to reign in spending. There are just way too many special interests on both sides of the fence, and often the "bipartisan" solution means spending money on everyone. Hence it's up to Bush to start wielding the power of the veto. Speaking of which, didn't President Clinton get the line item veto enacted during his administration? Whatever happened to that?
