The first exit polls that were posted in wonkette/dailykos and other blue blogs were raw unweighted numbers, ie: a few pollsters in a few counties in each state taking a 'random sample'. The first report was done around noon.

This poll is not only raw, someone added them all up for each state without any proper weight by county. (My guess)

Throughout the rest of the day, I think there were subsequent data, and the NEP reweighted their data at least twice (?) ---the final time matching the data to the actual poll results in the eastern state... somehow (at that point, the poll numbers are real already, so who needs the exit polls? Hah!).

As for the fruitcakes talking about machine fraud, don't waste time on them. A fraud of the scale they are claiming across all the 50 states and all those counties with a nationwide net 3.6M votes and the margins in Florida and Ohio is impossible to pull off without the DNC's acquisence --- [perhaps to clear the way for Hillary in '08] a joke, now now, don't go there (g)....

Many of these spoiled blue kids have never seen an election and are not used to disappointments in life. In a few years, they'll grow up wiser, and most will leave their liberal mindset behind. They'll be like the rest of us, normal people with open minds and our own set of worries.

The "Real Politics numbers show that there were three polls that were better on State figures than CNN.

Not only that exit polls were never designed to accurately measure the vote totals.....
