Maybe so, but truth be told, I lost all my sympathy for the plight of the Chechens after their attack on the theater in Moscow. Then when they followed it up with Beslan, my neutrality shifted into pro-Russian with the issue of Chechnya.

If Muslims want to garner sympathy, they are certainly going about it the wrong way. We simply don't identify with violent resistance, especially callus resistance such as theirs.
