This is a good question. I haven't given much thought to women priests, but I have to admit that the thought is strange to me. When I think of priest, I think strictly of old males with white hair, pleasant dispositions, and a fierce intellect. But I know that is only my experience speaking. I can't think of any commandments of God within the Bible prohibitting women priests, but I can't be certain. It's not something I've ever looked for. No question, the Catholic church moves slow too. Thankfully, not as slowly as Islam. Otherwise, we'd still be subject to inquisitions and crusades. However, the Church evolved, but Muslim countries still have the religious police. And women are often killed in "honor killings" if they step out of line. What a ridiculous throwback!
