Amy,

if you are a US citizen and invested that kind of funds in a European venture as part of a significant package for it, it should be quite easy for you to get over here. If you can apply in a position of being an officer of same company it comes down to being a piece of cake. As a matter of fact, in that case and assuming you really can produce evidence of your proficiency you most likely don't need to make any significant investment at all.
