My opinion of Frank Sesno went up over the weekend. He said on Howie Kurtz' CNN show, "I think a lot of journalists live on the moon, quite frankly."

"We pay 40% more for drugs in this country than the rest of the world does and we need to do something about it."

That's the statement I heard our extemely conservative new OK Senator, Dr. Tom Cobum, make on "Booknotes" Sunday. When you are getting it from both the right and the left, something is going to give. But I don't see anything that will work. "Centralized buying" is a rationing system that will give lower drug prices at the expense of research. The left's answer is "oh, we will have Government scientists do the research."

The LA Time and the NYT have already started a drumbeat on this issue.
