When Clinton had both houses he was spending like a drunken liberal, it wasn't until Newt's contract with American and the winning of the house by Republicans that the spending stopped. READ SOME HISTORY

You've got to stop getting your info from FOX News...........they are lying to you. Clinton never had control of both houses and it was Clinton who got welfare reform on the agenda and approved.

In fact, the national debt as a percent of the GDP increases under GOP presidents and decreases under Dem. ones:
