Hi bullderrick, my 2c worth FWIW....... I am with Ed in as much as I don't believe any country anywhere can occupy and eventually control the minds and wills of those people, it just aint gonna happen and history pretty much bears that out. OTOH we are there in Iraq for various reasons including Imperialistic ones ie Oil and longterm geopolitical influence in the area. I suspect that we will be getting our military out within 2 years maybe sooner but will always have a covert presence in Iraq and the entire ME in order to fight terrorism and all that comes with it. Unlike Ed I feel that we must support the President, the administration and our troops in the Iraqi endeavor regardless of the idealistic ramblings of the liberal left. I came out hard right conservative on the test, no surprise there... regards...Chuck
