Woman Kills Husband over Remote
According to the Orlando Sentinel a 48-year-old Orange County man is dead following a fight with his wife over their television.

Caron Simmons, 46, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of her husband, William J. Simmons when she shot him to death after he hid the remote control. According to Caron her husband Bill hid the remote to piss her off. While she was looking for it she found a gun in the dresser. She pointed it at him and “it went off.”

They say that guns don’t kill people…people kill people. Well, I guess according to Caron Simmons this is one of those times that guns kill people.

I don’t think the gun “went off” sweetheart it looks like you “went off.”

Lots of things 'sorta work'.

Monarchy 'sorta worked' for long stretchs of history.

Horses 'sorta worked' for transportation.

Me, I'm a believer that --- despite it's numerous flaws --- Democracy is the best attempt at government humans have yet come up with....

So, naturally I'm interested in ideas to achieve even purer Democracy, like 'direct elections', universal sufferage, and I'm a fan of citizen initiatives --- don't believe they should be restricted.
