Hi Jack .. sorta OT .. cnn.com Global warning stuff .. toward the end of the article, they mention that dark ground being exposed allows more storage of solar energy than would snow covered land. Years ago I tried to propose the idea of choosing the color of future pavement. We should halt the production of blacktop solar collectors. If the solar warming is real, then this would be a logical step. People building houses should choose white roofs for the same reason.
