Don't underestimate the Chinese: they are very savvy and shrewd business people. Because the Yankee dollar is headed down, I believe they strive to maintain real profit margins by raising prices.

To date, China has bought lots of US Treasury Bills to the tune of about $3.7 billion, if I am not mistaken. To be sure, it bothers them to see that their "investment" is headed down. So, it is to be expected from hereon they will most likely raise prices in order to come out better than break even and then some.....

Maybe this be the beginning of their plan to wring concessions of sorts from America?
