damn...I haven't looked up the various states that have and don't have various forms of ballot initiative. Although it may be remotely akin to mob rule, ballot initiatives are a grand red tape cutting exercise. The problems for politicians and lobbyists being their deals are no longer intact and graft, bribery and collusion lose their honorable tenure in some circles. In other words it is a pain in the politician and criminals ass. What is with your South Carolina interest? Is that where you live? I took you for a Chicago type, two generations removed from Westies influence. ;)
