Besides, I've seen how the GOP went after Specter. It ain't pretty! It wasn't nearly as hard as the Dems, including you, have gone after Republicans. Specter probably wouldn't have won his primary without Bush's support and the support of other national figures in the Republican party. Than as soon as he wins he fires a shot across Bush's bow. He deserved a little bit of criticism and he doesn't deserve to automatically get the judicial committee chair, when he has announced a policy for this area at odds with the majority of hid party. Tim
