Yes, the distribution of Smallpox infected blankets was an abomination. That too was a British tactic.

I almost mentioned Ft Pitt, but could not remember the precise details. I do recall the Smallpox attack was considered quite successful yet the results were never documented. They succeeded in starting a major epidemic with just two such blankets.

I cannot recall if the attacks were against indians in the way of the Brit goal of capturing Canada or against indians period.
