Yeah. I think cats switch diets after a certain period and become hunters. Can't see how else they can maintain so much weight in a fresh water environment. Don't know what the record is, but if someone were to tell me it is 150lbs I would not question it.

I usually catch and release, but will sometimes keep them if the mood is right and they are the right size. They are a pain in the rear to clean. Talk about a mess! But they are not bad tasting in the least if prep'd correctly. A few years back Ish gave me a blackened cat recipe that I make once every few years. The thing is so rich, you really don't want it more than that. I also make a mean catfish gumbo (grin). Fried cat is nice also, but I really haven't had it in quite awhile.
